Terms & Conditions
Searcho Radio is a free way to find and play radio stations that other people broadcast. These are the terms you accept by using it.
Last updated 18 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Searcho Radio website and web player (the “Service”), operated by Searcho (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
What the Service is
Searcho Radio is a directory and player. It shows publicly available internet radio stations on a globe and connects your browser to the stream a broadcaster publishes. It is free, needs no account, and is offered for personal, non-commercial listening.
We do not own, operate, control or endorse the stations. We do not create, host or modify their audio. Station details come from a community-maintained public directory, and the audio comes from each broadcaster’s own servers. What you hear is theirs, including any advertising, and their own terms may apply to it.
Availability
Stations appear, disappear, move, rename themselves and go off air without telling anyone, and the directory behind the Service is maintained by volunteers. A station that will not play is usually a station that is down, not a fault at our end, and we cannot promise that any particular station will be reachable at any particular time.
The Service itself is provided without any guarantee of uptime. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, at any time, without notice.
Using it properly
By using the Service you agree not to:
- use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes anyone else’s rights;
- re-broadcast, re-transmit, record or redistribute the audio, or present it as your own;
- scrape, crawl or hammer the Service or the streams it points to, or try to overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any part of it;
- strip, obscure or work around any technical or legal notice attached to the Service or to a broadcast.
You are responsible for making sure that listening to a given station is lawful where you are.
If you are a broadcaster
If you own or represent a station and want it removed from the directory — or want its details corrected — write to legal@searcho.com and tell us which station and in what capacity you are asking. We will act on genuine requests promptly. The same address is the right one for any copyright or other legal notice.
Intellectual property
The Searcho Radio name, design, and the code behind the site are ours. The audio, station names, logos and any programme material belong to the respective broadcasters and rights holders. Nothing here transfers any rights in a broadcast to you.
The globe uses the open-source CesiumJS library and third-party satellite imagery, each under its own licence and credited on the globe itself.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any station or piece of information in the directory is accurate, current or lawful in your country.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service — including anything arising from the content of a third-party broadcast. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the Service, which is nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Privacy
The Service has no accounts and collects no personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what does and does not happen, and forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Service.
